Can the status of updated events be changed?

It’s possible to set the default status for submitted events so that submissions automatically go to “Draft,” “Pending Review” or “Published.” However, when an event is <b>updated</b> by a user, it doesn’t change back to that default status (in my case, Pending Review) – it stays published. Is it possible to change this so that anytime an event is submitted OR updated via Submit an Event form, its status will automatically be set to Pending Review?

Hey Sean! Thanks for the note here; that’s a solid idea, and while I can’t guarantee it’s doable, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a snippet or something similar we could share with you. That said: pretty much everyone on the team other than myself is out today. So while I’ve asked my colleague Casey to take a look at this when he can, I want to set expectations that it’ll unfortunately probably not be until Monday.

Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately, this functionality isn’t currently supported in the Community add-on. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.
