Can not see the calendar using Genesis theme

I am using a genesis child theme and can not view the calendar. When I view the events page it just shows a thumbnail image and a read more button that goes nowhere and appears to be list view. I am using the events calendar with the Wootickets paid plugin.

Update: I have now figured out that it is a conflict with the Genesis content archives. If I choose display content and then 0 in the content limit field it works, problem is now my blog page is not styled 🙁

Thanks for using our plugin. I can try to help out here, but we are limited in supporting theme compatibility issues.

For Genesis we do have this guide for integration:

That might help you get closer to what you are looking for.
