    I can no longer see “A Static Page (select below)” in the Reading settings. I have deactivated all plugins and that did not work, am logged in as an admin, reinstalled the latest version of WordPress and updated to the latest Events Calendar PRO and nothing has worked. Any ideas?

    I actually did revert to twenty-sixteen and it did not work. I have no problem with you logging in, but I don’t see a secure place to enter a user/pass

    Good evening Jonathan,

    After examination, it looks like the Shield plugin is really blocking a lot of options in your wp-admin.

    I believe it requires more than simply deactivating the plugin for the effects to go away.
    So I would recommend digging deeper into this first.

    The other thing I would recommend trying is to temporarily switch WordPress theme (after a DB backup and theme options backup to be extra safe) to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen (you can have a maintenance page plugin active while you do that).
