(I’m thinking I would create 2 versions of the ticket, one paid and one rsvp – is that correct?)

I created a product for an event that sometimes I will collect the money for. Sometimes the venue where I’m holding my class collects the payment. In those cases I’d like to create a ticket for the event that would allow my students to RSVP with me so I have their info, but when I click RSVP type ticket and then update the event, it switches back to Woocommerce.

Can you explain the best way to handle this? Should I make a version of the event that is free and have them check out with woo? Is it supposed to not allow RSVP option in this case?

    Thanks,
    Evelyn

    Hi Evelyn!

Thanks for reaching out to us! 🙂

Changing a Woocommerce ticket to a RSVP ticket is not something we support at the moment. So, like you said, a workaround for this would be to create a new RSVP ticket in addition to the WooCommerce one. You don’t need to create a new event for this, as you can add multiple tickets per event

I hope that helps. Let me know if any other questions and I’ll be happy to help.

    Best!
