Can i have Custom Fields, custom alterations and custom pin

Hi,
Its great plugin and I’m thinking to buy Pro version as it can be really help. But I have a two key questions, Could you please help me to find answer:

1. Is it possible to have custom field and filters. I want to add a field called EventType that is some predefined values. Is it possible to put this field in event fields and have filtration on it?? how can i achieve it?

2. Its great to see map of events (in PRO), but I want to put EventType’s images on the pin of map, means instead of having red pins on map I want to have small images of EventType (depends on type of that event. Is it possible and how?

Yes, Events Calendar PRO does include the ability to add custom fields to events. This guide provides a full overview of how those work:

Creating Additional Fields

If you would like to filter events by the custom fields you create, then you will want the Filter Bar plugin as well. It adds a series of filters that can be used to narrow the events that are displayed in the calendar, including filtering by custom fields.

I am afraid that none of our plugins will allow you to customize the map pin in the plugin settings. The map does use Google Maps, however, so it is very possible that it can be achieved, though it would take a bit of custom development to make it happen.

I have some addition question 🙂

Yesterday, I was playing with Events Calendar (basic) plugin but I couldnot find any page with name ‘event’, how do you create that page. Actually I want to show list of events in form of grid with event picture and some other ‘high-level’, information. Could you please help me to find how can i achieve it.

In you demo, i saw that you have ticket and booking plugin that have option to pay through PayPal, is there any option to pay by creditcard?

Hi Aamir,

Thanks for following up!

The Events Calendar will create the calendar page for you. If you’re having trouble finding it, navigate over to Events > Settings from the WordPress dashboard and it will provide you with a link to the calendar. Here’s a screenshot of where to find it.

And, yes, there is a way to accept credit card payments for tickets. You’ll need our free Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus plugins to get started. That will allow you to create paid tickets for events and connect them to WooCommerce, which provides the functionality for accepting credit card purchases for paid transactions.

Hi Aamir,

There is a Month View that comes standard with The Events Calendar — that is what we typically refer to as a grid view (screenshot).

If you’re looking for something a little different, Events Calendar PRO includes a Photo View that is also in the form of a grid layout (screenshot).
