Can events display in a lightbox vs. a separate page?

I have multiple sites, some using Pro and others not. Is it possible to display events in a lightbox style rather than jumping to a full page for event details?

Hey David,

Good question. I believe that would be possible, but it would take a fair mount of custom work to make it happen.

For example, you might want to change the link to an event to call a modal and then inject the single event template (or elements from it) into the modal.

There may be other ways to go about it as well, but it will ultimately depend on what tools you use for the lightbox/modal and go from there. Note that events are posts at the end of the day, so you can also grab the post attributes and use them wherever you would like. See our documentation for more info. 🙂
