Can EDD tickets be sold for events that are continually recurring

Situation: If the calendar is setup with a Weekly Call in that happens every week on the same day at a set time, with the same description. I’d like to see the ticket setup so that only visitors who haven’t purchased would be required to purchase a ticket and access the webinar/conference call number and login details associated within the recurring event.

I tried using the LearnDash.com [visitor] [/visitor] [student] [/student] shortcodes in the description of the weekly event. In regular posts and pages using these shortcodes the appropriate content is shown for visitors and logged in users. But these shortcodes are not recognized in the free version of the events calendar

That is an interesting feature, however, it is not something our plugins support. It might be added as a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide.

If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.

Is there a reason that the LearnDash.com [visitor] [/visitor] [student] [/student] shortcodes don’t work in the body copy of the event? Do any 3rd party WordPress shortcodes work in the events calendar? Membership plugins, learndash etc?

We use the WordPress function to display the content and that should work on all shortcodes.
