Hi there,
Looking to make a booking calendar – Is it possible to integrate with emarketing software such as Campaign Monitor?
March 26, 2018 at 6:00 pm #1489119CourtneyMemberHi there
How do you envision integrating with an email system? Do you want to email ticketholders or share events created on your site to your newsletter?
We do not have direct integration with systems like this. However, you can integrate your site with Zapier to pull off some of these ideas. https://theeventscalendar.com/automating-event-promotion-zapier
Thanks

I’m needing to subscribed all users who make a booking via the website to Campaign Monitor.
This will be needed for future email notifications.Im assuming events plugin sends email notifications for
Confirmation of booking
Alert 1 days out

I’d suggest using Zapier to set up something like if a ticket is purchased, add ticketholder to your drip sequence. You’ll want to refer to Zapier for precise ways to configure this. Create a new zap, use WordPress, and use the “any webhook” functionality to get started with this.
Thanks

What email notifications are actually sent via The Events Calendar Ticket?
I’ve read so many articles and it’s not very clear.
Is it only the confirmation email with the included ticket?I need to quote for a client urgently and need to understand what Im looking at in term of extra work to get notifications firing

yes, only ticket emails will be sent. You can test out what you would recieve as a buyer from our demo site:

Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

Im looking into Zapier and need to know when a user purchases a FREE ticket, can the event date get pulled via Zapier into Campaign Monitor?
It’s hard to know where to start looking into this as Im marrying EVENTS+WOOCOMMERCE+ZAPIER+CAMPAIGN MONITOR just to try get users who purchase tickets into the correct Campaign Monitor list.
OR does EVENTS offer the ability to download a list of attendees so I can then upload list into Campaign Monitor
April 3, 2018 at 8:32 pm #1496009Pixel FishGuestThe other question I did have when perfomring some tests in the links you provided, none of the event confirmation emails even include the DATE of the event??!? That has to be an error or a setting that can be toggled on right?!

We are a bit limited with additional customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
However, I’d love to put together an additional tutorial covering deeper integration examples. Could you submit that idea to our suggestions site? http://tribe.uservoice.com.
Regarding the confirmation emails, we do have a bug report filed for that. We will notify you here when we have an update available to resolve this.
Thanks

The Events Calendar Support TeamJune 20, 2018 at 7:40 pm #1557849VictorKeymasterHey There!
I just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugin is out, which includes a change in the ticket email to show the event date and time by default.
We decided to adjust this and make it available by default, so you will no longer need a snippet to make the date and time to show up in the ticket emails.
You can find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-week-17-june-2018/
Best!
