Calling the Events Calendar into a page

I’m using The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO with a theme called “Salient” on several websites. The problem I’m having is that the plugin doesn’t get called up from a specific page but uses the default page template, so there’s no way to go in and edit the page itself to add, say, a featured header image or set the header to not use transparency.

This creates a huge issue because the header and menu load by default with transparency against a white header background. As a result, the entire header area is white against white, thus invisible.

The hard fix is to custom code a special template which is a royal pain and not something we want to do. An easy fix would be to create a new page for events and call the calendar plugin as the only content on that page using a short code.

But I’ve looked through all the documentation and can’t find a way to just call a short code to load the calendar functionality. Is there such a thing? It would seem odd if there isn’t, but I can’t find it.

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

We do not have shortcodes for the main views of Month, List, Map etc..

We only have shortcodes for the widgets in Pro.

The Event views are setup as archives in WordPress and are not pages.
