ParticipantIf I go to the page that is the stand-alone default calendar http://rilandtrusts.org/landtrustdays/activities-new it shows, at the top, “Events for August 2018,” as it should (we have no events in July so we’ve got it set to show August).
However, when we use a shortcode to embed the calendar on the home page http://rilandtrusts.org/landtrustdays/ (scroll down) it shows the previous and next months but not the header identifying the month that is currently being displayed. This is extremely confusing. What do we need to do to get the header to show up?

MemberHi, Laura. Our tribe_events shortcode (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/) looks like this by default: https://cl.ly/0y291v2e1i0w
Please double-check that you don’t have tribe-bar=”false” in your shortcode’s arguments.
Please let me know what you find out.

ParticipantThanks. We had tribe-bar set to “false” but changing it to true does not resolve the problem. I did some more testing and figured out that our problem is specifically with the month view. If I shift to list view then the month heading (e.g., “August 2018″) shows up. For now I’ve turned off the tribe-bar false setting to eliminate that from the discussion. So, our complete shortcode is [tribe_events view=”month” date=”2018-08″]. You can see the results here http://rilandtrusts.org/landtrustdays/ (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
Thanks

MemberThanks for the additional information. I confirmed the issue and we have the bug logged.
I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi Laura!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue 🙂
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/release-event-tickets-4-8-event-tickets-plus-4-8/
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.
Please update the plugins and let us know if the fix works for your site.
