Calendar with auto-updates of events

Hi I am looking for a WordPress plug-in that is able to auto-update itself, in a term of past and upcoming events.

It would be required to auto change based upon date sets. For example at the end of one calendar month the site would be required to auto update to the following calendar month in terms of timetables and events. Other time requirements will be auto deleting events once the date has passed.

Is this something the Events Calendar is capable of? If not, could you please recommend a plug-in that could do this?

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins 🙂

If I’m understanding you correctly and – in essence – you want the calendar to automatically ‘recycle’ events by moving them forward a month, each time a month passes, then no I’m afraid that isn’t supported (though if you like coding, or have access to a developer, this wouldn’t be too hard to build as a further customization).

However, you may be interested in our Events Calendar PRO plugin. This builds on top of our free, core plugin (The Events Calendar) and its flagship feature is its recurring events functionality.

This allows you to create an event and have it repeat every month (or week, or some other interval). If you defined an event starting today and repeating every month for 12 months, for example, it would generate 12 events and add one to each upcoming month.

It’s possible that would suit your needs here; what do you think?
