I am using the shortcode in a template file to display the mini calendar widget in a mega menu. I have customized pretty much every template file by overwriting them in my theme directory. One thing I cannot figure out how to accomplish is showing only one day at a time on page load.

For example, if I have events every day for the next week (some with multiple events on the same day), when you first view the menu (before clicking on a day) it will currently show something like:
    June 8th
    event
    event

    June 9th
    event

    June 10th
    event
    event

What I am trying to accomplish would be more like:
    June 8th
    event
    event

Once I click on a day in the calendar, the desired functionality starts working (ie. if I click on June 10th, I only see the 2 events for that day on the list). Is this something you guys can assist with or at least point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    Hey Dave,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

With the shortcode settings, you can currently set the “count” to limit the number of events that do display. There isn’t currently a setting or argument that would pre-select a particular date (or default to the current date which seems like would be the desired action here).

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
