Calendar Widget not filtering properly

I am having this same issue as this developer: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/widget-calendar-listing-events-with-no-result/.

I’m using the Event Calendar widget and filtering by specific tags, yet there is a dot shown on the calendar on days when there is no event that matches the filtered tag. If I click on that day in the calendar, nothing shows in the list below.

It looks to me that the list below the calendar is being filtered, but the dots on the calendar are not.

Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

It is a bug in the mini calendar that we are working on fixing, but I do not have a patch for it right now.

I have added this ticket to our bug ticket and we will update it once we have have fix released.
