    The calendar widget (see my web site, right sidebar) shows a monthly calendar, and instead of weekdays it shows month names.
    Looks like a bug to me.

    Hi @danieldekay,

    I was just checking out your site — nice work! I really like the text styling on the calendar’s Month View. It’s super clean and nicely color coded.

    Were you able to resolve the issue of month names showing in the calendar widget instead of weekday names? It seems to be correct when I see it (screenshot) but perhaps I am looking in the wrong place and you can point me in the right direction.

    Dear Geoff,
    yes, the issue is resolved. I just upgraded from a pre-4 version of the calendar, and had some old code in my child theme. after killing that it was all fine.
