I’m having a problem with setting widget properties with the Events List widget. The problem is that I’m unable to set the filter option, any option set disappears when saving the page. I think it may be related to an error showing up in the console. Edited: [blocked] The page at ‘https://—/wp-admin/widgets.php’ was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from ‘http://—/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/resources/calendar-widget-admin.js?ver=3.6.1’: this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.

After that blocked message appears, calls to calendar_toggle_all error as undefined.

I’ve included a screenshot in the site url field if that helps.

Is it possible to force /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/resources/calendar-widget-admin.js to load over https instead of http?

    Thanks!

Another detail that may help, my admin is set to always use https.

Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us. You are correct this is an issue with our plugin. We are using the WP_PLUGIN_URL global to determine where to load the js file from and instead should be using the plugins_url function.

I am creating a ticket in our system for resolving this. I’ll also ask our devs what the easiest resolution is for this.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention,

    Hi there,

I just wanted to drop in and update you on the status of this issue. We are working on a fix, but we were not able to include it in our upcoming release (3.7). Correcting this problem is still important to us and we hope to have a fix done for a future maintenance release. We will do our best to keep you updated here on our progress. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work on this.

    Best,
    Leah

Hi, I’m not sure what the timeline would be to make this change to our code base. It needs to be prioritized with other items currently in the queue. In the mean time you may want to look into some WP Plugins that force SSL on enqueued scripts.

    http://shop.webaware.com.au/downloads/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/

We don’t endorse or support any of these, however I wanted to bring these to your attention as they may be able to resolve your issue until we get the plugin updated.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

    Thanks!
Using SSL Insecure Content Fixer works for me until the change makes it into the shipping product.

    Excellent!

Thanks again for notifying us of this issue! We’ll update this thread when the fix is included in an upcoming release.

Until than let us know if there are any other issues questions we can help you with. Also if you have a minute or two we would love it if you could say a few words about our plugin here :http://m.tri.be/lo
