ParticipantHi, so basically i am trying to run the events widget calendar on my home page, so far so good, the only issue i have, is it sits in a perfect size box / column , once i click a date on the the calendar is displays the event below the widget which corresponds to that date?.. how can i change this so when the user clicks the date it takes them to that events page rather than displaying under the widget?..
Thanks again

MemberHi there, Omar! Thanks for getting in touch.
Good question. Unfortunately, linking directly to an event by clicking on a date in the mini calendar widget isn’t supported. The reason is that we have to account for the possibility that there may be more than one event in a date–and in those cases, the calendar would not be able to identify which event to link directly to.
If you have a different idea for how this should work, please feel free to suggest it on our UserVoice page. In the meantime, however, I’m afraid this isn’t possible right out of the box.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Also, just a heads up, but our team will be out this week. I’ll try to respond to any follow-up questions as quickly as I can, but there will likely be a greater delay than normal. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Geoff, ok i see your concern, would it be possible for it to display no events under the calendar until someone clicks a date to reveal the events on that day?
Thanks again

MemberHi there Omar,
Yes, you can set the widget to display zero events in the widget settings (Appearance > Widgets).
Just a reminder that our team is still out this week, so our replies will be later than normal.
Cheers!
