Yesterday my site went live. It is not perfect, but we are almost there.
Now I have a silly question about the event calendar widget.
On the admin interface there is the event categories dropdown.
But we just can’t figure out how to put this dropdown to be seen on the live site. On the actual site, you can choose a date in the widget, but you can’t narrow your search results by event categories.
Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks
I’m afraid it isn’t designed to allow that – the category setting is just that, a setting, but front end users (visitors to your site, in other words) will not be able to do the same thing.
It’s probably possible to implement this as a customization – our Themer’s Guide is a great starting point if you want to investigate that possibility – and we’d also be more than happy to review this as a feature request if you’d like to post one 🙂
