ParticipantI was hoping to find some help in the ‘Calendar views not working’ thread, but it seems that thread has been closed with no resolution. Recently, the calendar on one of my sites has gone all weird, displaying 2012 as the date, showing non-existent events in the list view (with page_id=-9999), and refusing to display any view other than List. Other views, even when enabled, don’t appear, and if I disable List view and enable others, only the aforementioned non-existent events show up, displayed in List view. This is a live site that has been active and using the Events Calendar plugin for quite some time, so if I can avoid disabling plugins and themes, I’d prefer it. I should note that all of these same problems were present with version 3.0.2 of the free plugin as well. The client really didn’t need the Pro version, but since I had a spare license, I hoped upgrading them might solve the problem. Needless to say, it did not.

MemberHi sdshields,
I took a quick look and couldn’t immediately identify the problem you have described; can you confirm if there’s still a problem here or if you managed to resolve this?
Thanks!

ParticipantI did manage to “fix” this on my own, though the underlying problems weren’t resolved so much as papered over. My initial thought was that it would display better if I chose ‘Skeleton Styles’ and ‘Default Page Template’, but I finally resolved the issue by switching to ‘Tribe Events Styles’ and ‘Default Events Template’ and adding a few CSS tweaks to my theme. Where the site was pulling the non-existent events from previously, I still don’t understand and I think is a bug worth looking into.

We’d certainly be happy to – is this something we can still see on your site or can you give directions as to how we might replicate it?

MemberOK, I definitely appreciate you getting back to me but it’s not quite enough to replicate the problem (and we do not have access to PageLines WhiteHouse Pro – which may or may not be impacting).
If it crops up again and you can point us to an example and/or even provide access to see what’s happening admin-side that would be terrific.
