Calendar view reporting incorrect URL

We have the calendar view set as the default view on our site and the Events url slug set as calendar.

When you go to /calendar/ it shows the calendar view up nicely but seems to play around with the page url so both the language switcher and the breadcrumbs (functionality provided by two different plugins) both see the page url incorrectly reported as the next event url rather than the calendar view url leading to incorrect behavior in the language switcher and an incorrect breadcrumb.

Any idea what we can do to fix this so it correctly reports the url to other plugins?
