Calendar view options not working in translate version

I changed the general settings in WordPress to Spanish and I’m delighted that the Calendar interface is now displaying with the Spanish translation.

However, with the settings changes to Spanish, the views no longer work. By that I mean, when you use the drop-down on the Calendar page to choose the List, or Weekly, views, instead of the monthly view (which I’ve set as the default), I get a 404 error. Change settings back to English and they work perfectly…

I’ve deselected the options that enable the alternate displays to avoid having errors on my site, but I’d really like to give users all of these options in Spanish.

I know this makes it difficult to recreate the problem on our site at SembraMedia.org, but I have to imagine I’m not the only person using a translated version of your wonderful plugin that may be having this problem.

Hi Janine.

If your link is something like site.com/events/list, then you change your site from English to Spanish, that same link will work (since our plugin is written in English) but the Spanish version of that link should also work: site.com/events/lista

The “view drop-down” should point to your language version (e.g. site.com/events/lista, not /list)

If it’s not, please re-save your WordPress Permalinks settings page and see if that helps.
