ParticipantI’m using the plugin in German and in calendar view when hovering over an event the “continue reading” link is not translated.
How can I fix this issue?July 10, 2013 at 12:08 am #54247Neill
MemberHi Swissvegan.
Thanks for splitting all your issues up into separate threads like this. Its very helpful for us so that we can get you the right support. I see this issue with the “continue reading” link in the calendar tooltip in the link you provided
I have checked with our developers and it looks like a language file update it is on the books for an early fix which we will be trying to release ASAP. If you can just bear with us a little longer we should be able to get a fix for this. In the mean time I will work with the team and specifically take a look at the German translations.
Thanks for your patience and your info when reporting this.

MemberHi Swissvegan,
After looking into this a little further it look like the “continue reading” link is not actually part of the plugin translation files. This is a WordPress function that appears when there’s not enough room to fit all the text. It look like its also occurring on your blog as I see in this screen shot here: http://d.pr/i/PZGv.
If you take a look at the wordpress codex you should be able to get a little help from their articles. Here’s one to get you going in the right direction: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language
Hope that helps for now.

Thanks for your help. It took quite a while but I have now solved the problem. It was related to the Q&A plugin that I’m using.
For anyone experiencing the same problem see the following thread in the forum of the Q&A plugin: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-conflict-with-custom-excerpt-continue-reading-link?replies=2
Adding the mentioned code to the theme’s function.php fixed the issue.August 6, 2013 at 3:03 pm #59152Neill
