ParticipantIs there a way to change the default view so newest entries are first?

KeymasterHi there!
Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m happy to help, and I’ll try to answer your question.
Can you help me better understand what you would like to do? By “default view” do you mean the “Monthly Calendar” view? Or the “List” view?
And, by “newest entries first” do you mean you wish the events to be ordered by when they were added to WordPress rather then the actual date of the event?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Sky,
So the client would like on the events page that the events appear in date order so that oldest event is last and then newest event (or most advanced date) is next. So eg,
Currently on this page > http://www.thevinechurch.com/events/ the event on the 14th of December appears first. The client in theory would like the opposite order or something that can archive old events on only have up and coming events on this page?
Thanks,

KeymasterHello again,
Normally, past events do not show up in the default views. For some reason they are on your site, but only in “list” view.
What happens if you temporarily switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme and disable all other plugins? Do past events still show up in list view?
Thanks,

ParticipantThe plugins being deactivated did nothing, but when I switched theme to Twenty Seventeen it was displaying May events first?
Very strange? The plugin came with the theme but i upgraded to the pro version.
Can you still try and help me find the issue?
Thanks,

KeymasterMichael,
We can’t really provide support for third party themes or plugins. What theme are you using though? Maybe other users have posted a solution or workaround?
Thanks,
