    Hi,

    Since the last update (4.2.2) my website has become slow. Page was taking up to 6 seconds to load instead of the 3 seconds in average when using The Event Calendar 4.2.1 (score given by tools.pingdom).

    I know this issue is caused by the Event Calendar plugin, because of all the plugins I deactivated, it’s the only one that once inactive, brought the site performance to what they were. I also downgraded the Pro version to its former version.

    Since I could not let the site run so slow, I reverted to 4.2.1 in the meantime. But I hope you will look into this issue.

    I’m sorry to hear about this, Nicolas!

    The performance issues may have been related to a bug with recurring event generation within Events Calendar Pro 4.2.2.

    We published 4.2.2.1 today, and so I would suggest trying to update to Events Calendar Pro 4.2.2.1 with The Events Calendar at version 4.2.2 and seeing if performance issues persist.
