Hi there. I just installed the PRO plugin and I’m having 2 issues:
    1) The page shows a title of “Untitled” and I cannot figure out how to change it. Image: http://goo.gl/WC8IZ2
    2) I’d like to default it to the List view, but when I toggle to any view other than Month, the breadcrumbs indicate a 404 error. Image: http://goo.gl/AF3vpR

Hi, happeningsmedia. This is a great question!

Unfortunately, without being able to look at your site in my browser, my hands are a bit tied when it comes to troubleshooting.

I’m guessing that all of this comes from something that your theme is doing. Have you tried switching to on of the default WordPress themes to see if the issues go away? (We always ask users to try disabling all other plugins and changing to a theme like Twenty Twelve as a troubleshooting step before posting.)

As far as breadcrumbs go, your best bet is probably to search the forums. Breadcrumb implementations are often problematic, so it’s likely that someone’s found a solution for you here already. If not let us know, and we’ll see if we can get you pointed in the right direction.

One last thing, it would be very helpful if you could post your system information when you reply. You’ll find it at the bottom of the Help tab in the Events Calendar Settings page.

    Thanks!

Question – Is the calendar a Post or a Page? I think both issues are tied to the fact that the theme uses the Post/Page Title and a) automatically posts it at the top of the post/page, b) uses that title in the breadcrumb. I can’t find a place in The Events Calendar settings to actually name the page.

I’m not sure why but the forum isn’t letting me post the system info… I click post, and then nothing happens… will keep trying

Are you seeing it? It tells me I’ve posted it but I don’t see it…

Hi, happeningsmedia. I apologize for the issues posting your sysinfo. The posts were getting trapped in our system. I really appreciate you bringing it to my attention!

You surmise about the Calendar is likely correct. URL/events/ is neither a post or a page, but rather a sort of virtual page with the events being custom post types.

You are definitely not the first to have issues with wanting to create breadcrumbs in line with the events. If you search through the forums, you’re likely to find several suggestions for ways to make them work.
