Calendar showing random old (past) events but no new ones.

I’ve just updated the Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro and now the calendar only shows 10 old events that are in the past. It can be seen on my website here (http://fitnesscumbria.co.uk. I have restored a previous backup to resolve the issue but then it happens again when I update again. Is there any way around this?

It might be worth noting that the events appear as normal in the event categories.

I’ve also just noticed that if I go to http://fitnesscumbria.co.uk/events then the calendar comes up as it should. It doesn’t come up properly on my home page. I have checked the setting under the reading tab and all is as it should be…

I have now resolved the issue. The problem was that the “Include events in main blog loop” box was ticked in the general settings. Now working as normal.
