ParticipantThis is a just a minor request. On our (members only) site we use the calendar view as default for events. All items in the top search bar are misaligned (here’s a screenshot: http://decor8blog.com/downloads/Capture.PNG). Footer is also slightly out of whack.
I’ve added [raw][/raw] to HTML before and after respectively. I also added this to my themes functions.php http://pastebin.com/BKyRhsjT, plus modified for ‘after’. I am just wondering if there is a more elegant option, say just add a piece of custom CSS to my theme to correct alignment?
Thank so much.

MemberHi alternatewords,
You could certainly override and customize the month templates if you wanted to follow an alternative approach here – please see our Themer’s Guide for details.
I’m afraid however I cannot view the Capture.PNG image you linked to (I see a page reading, “Error 1011 Access Denied”) and it can be pretty hard in any case to troubleshoot what sounds like a possible CSS issue based on a screenshot alone.

ParticipantSorry, my bad, still trying to get to grips with Cloudflare and it’s features.
This link should work: http://decor8blog.com/downloads/hotlink-ok/Capture.PNG
I know that usually just a bit of CSS is needed to correct these issues though I am not knowledgeable enough to figure out what exactly. Though my theme allows for custom CSS and that’s where I plug in CSS snippets developers provide me with to fix issues. Hence my inquiry. I am not really asking for changing any templates, just a CSS snippet to correct te DIV/Class/Entity to align again properly.

MemberOK, thanks – I can see what you mean, but I don’t want to waste your time by suggesting CSS snippets when they may not work (since I don’t know what exactly is causing this in the first place). Can you provide access so I can view the page directly?

ParticipantIt seems the issue resolved itself (perhaps it was a plugin conflict after all). I’ve removed the [raw][/raw] tags and also removed the before and after HTML filters from function.php. Everything stays tidy. Do please have a look to verify, in case I am seeing things pulled from some local cache.
On a side note I’ve noticed that the calendar doesn’t quite fit on a iPhone screen due to the day labels. It stops at roughly Frid, so Saturday and Sunday are omitted. But this may have already been mentioned before.

MemberGreat that you resolved it! Remember a great tip to avoid browser caching during testing can be to switch to an incognito or private tab in your browser – that should help you to determine if what you are seeing is what other visitors will see, too.

I don’t know if there’s a general issue there – a lot depends on your theme – but if for instance it is unworkable when viewed with a default theme in an iPhone (to the best of my knowledge that is not the case) we’d definitely be interested in looking a little deeper.
Since the original issue seems to be resolved though I’ll go ahead and close this thread – thanks!
