Good morning. I was curious if there is a way to scrape data from one sites canlendar and have it added to your own to aggregate events set by key words or hashes.

    Thanks,

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! While we don’t currently include any functionality for scraping data directly from human-readable calendars, we do offer a number of solutions for importing calendar data, including WordPress XML import, CSV import, iCal/ICS import (via iCal Importer), and Facebook event import (via Facebook Events). Our Knowledgebase has plenty of information on the workings of each of these, and we’d be happy to answer any specific questions you might have, as well!

Does that help to answer your question here? Let me know if there’s anything else we can do to assist! 🙂

Is there an FAQ or support KB that deals with XML data and how to perform that operation?

At the moment, the only XML format we support is WordPress’s own XML export format, which you can read more about on our Knowledgebase here. For other XML structures, I’d recommend converting your file(s) to CSV format and importing them from there–we have another Knowledgebase article with a list of supported fields and example data for each one, as well as sample CSV files that you can download to use as templates or references when building your own files. Hopefully you’ll find them helpful for your needs! 🙂
