Calendar Pro or Aggregator?

I am not sure which product we need to purchase. I think the Events Aggregator will work for the site. But do we need to purchase Events Calendar Pro to use the Events Aggregator?

You do not need Events Calendar Pro to use Event Aggregator . Can you tell me what types of events/sources you want to import into your site?
