Calendar popup not working

Hi there,
We have an issue with the calendar view and the week view whereby the event popup does not popup, it expands within the date cell instead.
Changing the theme to twentyseventeen works.

We have trawled threads to find an answer but all the solutions we have found did not work for us for example we have body_class() support within the theme.
We have also deactivated all plugins except the events calendar and events calendar pro.

We are using a timber theme.

If you share the link, I might be able to spot a quick fix or point you in the right direction, though.
