Heather
ParticipantI am having 2 issues:
A.)When I go to view the event calendar here:
http://indyfamilyresource.com/events/month/
The page is blank…not sure why it’s not showing up.B.)On the Event Listing page here:
http://indyfamilyresource.com/events/
it lists the basic content, but not the google maps, time, etc.February 21, 2013 at 10:42 am #33127Barry
MemberHi Heather,
Have you done some fairly extensive customization here? Strangely, http://indyfamilyresource.com/events/ and http://indyfamilyresource.com/events/month/ look pretty much identical, and not at all like I would expect on an “out of the box” installation (which is fine, but means I need more information to help troubleshoot).
If you are unsure about this (perhaps because you have worked with a web designer who set things up on your behalf) then can you try running through the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up to date and in synch (if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 ensure Events Calendar PRO is also 2.0.11)
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Switch to a default and unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
- Now test and see if the same problem still exists. If it resolves the issue, reactivate everything one-at-a-time, testing at each stage to see if it returns – taking note of whatever component seems to cause the problem to return
In this case, please also check if you have an existing page (the regular WordPress kind) which is named Events?
Thanks!

Participanthi barry-
I followed your directions above, and when i switched to the twenty twelve theme, the events page worked just fine, but the events/month/ page showed this error:
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/content/07/10302207/html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 1039.I have done a lot of customization on this site, using the new Thesis 2.0.3.1 theme. It appears that the /events page just wants to pull content from the home page.
any other suggestions you can send my way?February 21, 2013 at 11:52 am #33140Barry
MemberHi Heather,
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/content/07/10302207/html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 1039.
We’ve seen a few reports of that, but, so far have been unable to replicate it ourselves which is problematic 🙁
I have done a lot of customization on this site, using the new Thesis 2.0.3.1 theme. It appears that the /events page just wants to pull content from the home page.
OK, I hadn’t realized that you were using Thesis.
Thesis can be more challenging to configure and integrate than many other themes because its structure is quite different from “standard” themes (there’s nothing wrong with it – and integration between Thesis and our plugin is probably possible, but right now we can’t really guide you through this).
We do plan on creating a tutorial though which should be available when 3.0 is released or soon thereafter … until then I’m not sure there is too much more we can do to help on that front.
One thing I can offer you though is a copy of our 3.0 beta code (and if you want to take us up on this, please email us at [email protected] referencing this thread and we’ll send you a copy). It isn’t production ready – ie we don’t recommend using it on live sites – but it might give you an indication as to whether:
A) integration with Thesis is smoother with that version, and
B) if the problem with the in_array() error on post-template.php:1039 is resolved with themes other than ThesisI look forward to hearing from you 🙂

ParticipantBarry-
Sent you a message back last night, after no success. I’ll wait to hear from you in an email. THANK YOU!February 22, 2013 at 9:10 am #33213Barry
MemberHi Heather, that’s a shame. I’ve replied to your email and have copied in my colleague Leah who will probably take things from here.
Thanks again for your patience while we looked into this.
