Calendar mode – past events not showing

Hello,
Can you help me figure out why the past events disappear from the calendar view on my site? Also, I’ve tried to customize colors here and there but the changes don’t show at all.

why the past events disappear from the calendar view on my site?

To confirm, you mean that these events are viewable in the backend (wp-admin), but not on the front-end.

Can you tell me if these are recurring events by any chance ?
If so, this is probably due to your setting under Events -> Settings -> General (Clean up recurring events after)

If not, would it be possible to have an example event and its front-end URL ?

Also, I’ve tried to customize colors here and there but the changes don’t show at all.

This is because Avada uses its own customizer for the Events Calendar colors.
You will find that interface under the theme options.

That is correct

They are not recurring events

Good evening Lorena,

Thank you for writing back and answering my questions.

I must say that I am a bit puzzled as I am able to see your past events when I go on your site.

In the list view: http://www.scovillelibrary.org/events/list/?tribe_paged=2&tribe_event_display=past (after clicking on the “Previous events” link twice at the bottom of the page)

In the calendar view http://www.scovillelibrary.org/events/2017-05/ (after clicking on “June” and then “May” at the bottom of the page)

You see, by default, the calendar shows the upcoming events or the current month. Perhaps you would like a different default behaviour?
