Calendar List – Introtext word limit

Hi,

I’m using the calendar list feature and there seems to be an introtext word limit on each event on the main events list page before clicking on “Find out more” to get the full events text. Couple of things – can the word limit be changed anywhere to show less introtext and why does the introtext lose the html styling characteristics i.e. line breaks, paragraphs, bold, bullet points etc.? I’d like to style the introtext a bit more if possible.

The list view uses WordPress’ built-in excerpt functionality.
This means that the easiest way to control precisely the content of the excerpt is to use the Excerpt metabox in the Edit Event page.

You can also tweak it’s behaviour and ensure a specific word or character count cutoff:
