Calendar Grid in sidebar

Though the calendar grid shows events highlighted on the calendar grid, and shows a pop-up when I roll over an event, it is not linked to the event. Where is the setting that creates the link?

Hey Dennis. Thanks for the note and sorry to hear you’re having issues. Any chance you could share a link? This should happen by default; if you’ve got an event in the tooltip, it should appear therein. The link should also appear in the date box without need to hover.

It could also be a conflict with the theme or another plugin (I’d suggest disabling both to test). But a link would be the first step in helping us help you. Thanks in advance!

Here is the issue: Calendar date highlights and with rollover shows event BUT there is no active link to the event.

Hey Dennis. Thanks for the words, and for the follow-up here. I think I understand the issue now: you’re saying that in the grid widget, when you go to look at an event (let’s say on your site, the Weekly Meeting on 1/25)…you’re saying that clicking the “25” doesn’t take you into the entry?

If so, this is the intended behavior of the plugin…you’d need to hover over the “25” until you see “Weekly Meeting,” then click the “Weekly Meeting” link itself. This is done so that if there are multiple events on a given date, clicking the date itself wouldn’t be a problem (ie not knowing which of those multiple events to take you to). Let me know if I’ve misunderstood the request here and I can elaborate as needed.
