Calendar displaying all events when only a category should be shown

We are using the calendar to list upcoming courses held at 2 locations. The locations are set as categories (NJ location, DE location). When you view the calendar for the current month under a category, the correct courses are shown. When you click on the next month or previous month, the entire calendar is shown, not that specific category. The strange part is that the correct category is shown in the URL, but it is displaying events for both locations. This is only occurring while in calendar view, not list view (our client does not want to use list view). Any help is appreciated!

This seems only to be an issue with the AJAX loading. The links to the next and preceding months stay wothin the category. Have you tried turning off the AJAX page loads from Settings > Events > General and disable ‘Use avascript to control page loads’?
