ParticipantSince updating the latest The Events Calendar Pro 3.12.5 with the latest version of The Events Calendar vs 3.12.3
I cannot get the dates set for an event to tally or match with the date showing in the icon, when I set specific “Start Date & Time” and “End date & TIme” values. It is okay when the “All Day Event” box is checked.
Screen shot url below. Please can you help? Please can you help?

MemberHi,
I apologize I missed something in QA and we introduced a bug here.
You can replace the contents of this file:
plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/functions/template-tags/widgets.php
With the coding here:
That will fix the issue until we can release a patch.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks

ParticipantMany Thanks
Really strange – I was about to use the code you sent when I realised the problem had solved itself. It is now working as it should. How could this happen since I don’t allow plugins to update themselves.
On another note I have noticed that if for instance, I set an event such as
Poppy Appeal week November 4 – November 8 the icon shows WED 06.
Would be useful for the icon date to revert to the START DATE only, and the event shows until the last day rather than take the average.
I can of course have the Event showing 4 times separately for all 4 days but the above might be neater.Any thoughts. Thanks

MemberIt may work at times without changing things. The error only happens at certain times a day. I would recommend updating that file until the next release to keep it working correctly.
The Icon date shows todays date on multi day events or is suppose to. It is not setup to show the start date for them, if you think that is something you would like as an option I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

ParticipantThanks for that. You are right. The error was intermittent so I have taken your advice and updated that file on websites concerned and all seems to be well.
On your response to my second point – think you are right about that as well.
Many thanks
