Hi there,
I’m having a strange problem with the Events Calendar appearing in the “header-wrapper”. Is this a theme issue?

Thanks!

Thanks for using our plugins. I took a look at your site and see the Calendar in the header-wrap div, but at least not in the header tags.
That looks to be the way your theme and our plugin interact.
If you would like to change it you can follow our themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
And move the main event template and close off the .header-wrap div there.
If it is not causing problems I would consider leaving it as is.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

Follow-up question, how do I add additional content above the calendar? Do I need to manipulate the default-template.php file or is there a way for that content to import from the “page” data itself?
Thanks!

You can add content to the default template. That will put it on all the event views and single events.
You can dig deeper from the default template to target individual event views (month, list, photo, etc) or the single template.
Also, in the settings there is a field to add content above and below the event content on all the event pages.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks
