We have a new event calendar website. We importet all organziers, all events are importet too from
the old site…..all events are with the right organizers, but when tey are logged in and want to edit
one of their existing events the button on the community add site doesn’t work, it only links to the homepage.
What wents wrong? When i tried to access to the existing events about the admin bar –>events–>my events it semm to work….It’s really urgent, cause the organizers want to edit their events.
What can i do to make that working right?

ParticipantHi there, i’m sorry, but my problem is really urgent. I registrated a ne organizer and add a new event.
I wanted to control, if it has something to do with the import of the events. It doesn’t. When i go onto to the
site where i can add new events and i klick on the “my events” button i don’t come to my added events…it just
link to the events loop site.
It seems to be a bug in yout plugin and it must have to do with one of the latest update of the community plugin, cause before it works without problems.
It is really urgent cause all my organizers now are not able to edit there existin events. I need your
help reaaly fast.Kind regards

MemberHi again, Muriel / Conny.
If I’m understanding the issue completely, it’s a feature, not a bug. Let me explain:
If you have a site with 20 “creators of events via the Community Events form” (let’s call them Authors, not Organizers)
Every Organizer each of these Authors creates is viewable only to them. Otherwise, if each of the 20 Authors created 20 Organizers, there would be 400 Organizers in the drop-down for each person submitting the Community Events form… Same permissioning for Venues…
I believe all Authors can see the Organizers and Venues created by a WordPress Administrator user.
You might want to try this snippet to be able to see the WordPress Author (i.e. Event Creator) of each of your Organizers and Venues:

Please let me know how things go for you.

ParticipantHi, i think you missunderstood.
the event organizer dan’t see his own events, cause the button “my events” links to the loop site and not to his events.
That’s the problem.Regards Conny

MemberMuriel, this sounds like a CSS issue, likely from your theme, which we do not assist with per our Scope of Support / Terms.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
