ParticipantHello,
Using WP 3.9.1 and the Events Calendar + Events Calendar Pro 3.6.1
My database seems to have become corrupted – I have a recurring event that is repeating 4,331 times in the Events list and I am unable to delete it. When I click on Edit All I don’t get to the event editing page, I stay on the Events list. Is there any way I can bulk delete these pesky events without having to go through 217 pages of this event?

MemberHi:
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with The Events Calendar recurring events. If you are unable to access the Edit All page than the easiest way to delete all occurrences of this event would be to modify your screen options to display more events per page and instead of performing 217 deletes you could do 22 deletions. This isn’t optimal but should make the task more manageable with current functionality.
- On Events Page of Admin click “Screen Options” tab on top right
- Modify “Show on Screen” option to 100 /200 or similar large number
- Click Apply
- Perform Search of your recurring event
- Check “all” check box in list header table
- Select “Move to Trash” in Bulk Actions and Apply
In case you aren’t familiar with Screen Options or Bulk Actions/Check All I’ve included a few screenshots as a reference.

I know this solution doesn’t provide a single step for cleanup of your data but I hope it makes the process easier. I would also suggest going to our User Voice page and requesting the addition of a “Trash All” option for recurring events.
Please let me know if this helps resolve your issue and thanks for reaching out to us.

ParticipantThanks for following up – I did end up deleting them page by page and that sorted it.
