Hey guys–I have no idea if this is on your end or mine, but here it is: since upgrading to 2.0.5 today, I can’t get the calendar selection to spawn when clicking the date field while setting up an event, nor can I get the follow-up selection fields to spawn when I choose “custom” as my recurrence while creating an event. This is happening across browsers (I thought maybe I had somehow turned JS off, but that doesn’t seem to be the case): FF, Chrome, IE9 on my Windows Vista machine at work. So here’s the official bug submission:
Bug Report: Calendar graphic doesn’t spawn when clicking date field while creating new event; “custom” recurring setting doesn’t spawn setting fields when selected from Recurrence drop-down.
Reproduce: I click the “Start Date/Time:” or “End Date/Time:” fields and no click-to-pick calendar appears; I click the “Recurrence” drop-down and choose “Custom” and no additional settings are created (screenshot hopefully attached).
Setup: WordPress 3.3.1 | The Events Calendar 2.0.5 | Events Calendar Pro 2.0.5 | Calotropis Theme 1.5.2 | PHP 5.3.X (not sure what’s on the server) | Apache
Plugins: I have more than a coupla handfuls of plugins. I’m going to start the process of disabling one by one to see what’s what, but thought I’d get the bug submitted now. Will come back with more info if I find anything by disabling.
It’s called Find Me Elsewhere. It hasn’t been updated since WP 2.9.2, so I’m guessing the JS it’s using is outdated and overriding yours. I’ll just disable it, problem solved. Thanks anyway guys!
Hey Adam: glad to hear you got this resolved, and bummer to hear about the conflict. I wonder if that plugin has been abandoned by its devs or what 🙁 Let us know if we can do anything else though.
