I’ve never had an issue changing single events in a recurring series (for example adding something to one specific First Friday event, or being lazy and entering an event as a daily recurring and eliminating the two of the series that I don’t need) but now I am actually prevented from being able to click on the “Only This Event” or “All Events” because of some sort of screen over the entire page. This began after updating to 3.71. I’m unable to click on anything on the page and I just have to hit the back button or close the screens. It’s not specific to one browser or anything.
    It looks like this:

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks as always.

    Howdy,

I believe this to be a symptom of the Z-index bug we fixed in the 3.1 Pro update. Are you able to update the plugin itself? We have a nice tutorial to walk you through this process: https://theeventscalendar.com/manually-checking-for-updates-to-modern-tribe-plugins/

You will notice in the screenshots an “Important:” notice about backing up your database and files. That is a standard procedure when updating WordPress or the plugins. If you have not already backed up, I would definitely advise you to click on the “back up your database and files” link when you see it and follow the steps it outlines.

Please let me whether or not this helps you to resolve the issue. Thanks!
