ParticipantI found a bug.
Duplication
It happens when you have list view calendar count set to 6 – then if the 6th item is an event that has recurrence, and when the “dont show 2nd event” is checked – page one of the list view looks fine – BUT there is a page 2 box offered as alternative. Clicking on page two yields an error message because the only entry on page 2 has been told to be suppressed.Expected Behavior
When the last item of a page recurrence is set – it should not be treated as an extra event in the count – so there should be no page 2 offered in the first place.More Info
The specific error message is: Sorry, we couldn’t find any posts. Please try a different search.
and the page that it went to was: https://xxxxxxxxxxxx.com/events/page/2/May 22, 2018 at 11:27 pm #1536789Jennifer
KeymasterHi Todd,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you out with it. First, can you please send me a link to the page where this is occurring so that I can take a look? I looked at your main events page but don’t see any page navigation on the list view there (no page 2 option). Are you using a shortcode to generate the list view? If so, can you send me the exact shortcode that you’re using?
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantI can not send you to that page – my site just went live and I can not add
dummy events anymore.
I do not have a playground staging area yet. This bug is not really for me – its for your benefit – if you will set the
list view event size to 2 – then add 1 regular event, then add a recurring
event on multiple days – you will get the same result. In my case I am using beaver builder but it is just using the Event
Calendar widget as is.May 24, 2018 at 9:25 am #1538047Jennifer
KeymasterHi Todd,
Thanks for letting us know! I’m trying to see if I can recreate this on my end, but just to make sure I’m following here, are you referring to the list that appears under the calendar of the mini calendar widget (Events Calendar widget) or the main list view? Just want to clarify because the widget doesn’t have pagination, and I’m not running into any issues so far in the main list view with the settings that you mentioned. If I can see what you’re seeing on my end, I will certainly log it for our developers to take a look at!
Thanks,
Jennifer
