ParticipantHello there,
I thought I’d post this in case it helps anyone else.
I am running WP in German, and I found that the little filter bar wasn’t working when I tried to change from – for example – Photo view to Month view. Or rather, it was working but coming up with a No Results message, as follows:
Keine Ergebnisse gefunden
Die angefragte Seite konnte nicht gefunden werden. Verfeinern Sie Ihre Suche oder verwenden Sie die Navigation oben, um den Beitrag zu finden.I tried all sorts of things – changing permalinks, clearing the cache, turning off plugins, changing the theme, you name it, and eventually I discovered the problem.
When you click on “Foto” to see the photo view, it directs you to a sub-page. For example:
http://domain.com/events/foto/
The problem is that the events calendar only works when this sub-page is presented in English. So:
/events/foto/ NEED TO BE /events/photo/
/events/monat/ NEED TO BE /events/month/
/events/woche/ NEED TO BE /events/week/
/events/heute/ NEED TO BE /events/today/I’ve fixed this by adding redirects so that when my page tries to go to http://domain.com/events/foto/, it’s redirected to http://domain.com/events/photo, and it all works just fine.
Perhaps this will help someone 🙂
Best wishes,
Suzanne

MemberGood afternoon Suzanne and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and kudos on the workaround!
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced with these different views while using the filter bar. I would love to help you with this topic.
I believe what is going on is that our language files took a pretty good beating over the last few releases for technical reasons.
As such, it is very likely that a lot of URL-based things (like views) might break as a result.
We apologize for the inconvenience. The good news is that we have managed to fix this over the last couple of days.
You can grab the latest German language files here:Â http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projectsWe will be releasing these changes in our next plugin update.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
