ParticipantI have set up some ECP Additional Fields as Radio Buttons. The text associated with these radio buttons may include an ampersand, semicolon, or vertical pipe. After submitting a test event, the selected radio button will no longer be ‘selected’ upon viewing the editing form. I tried converting to checkboxes and the same thing happens, the box looses its ‘checked’ status. When removing these characters the proper functionality of the plugin is restored.
I’ve also noticed that the default ‘none’ radio button (added by wordpress), which is viewable in the backend, doesn’t carry over to the frontend Community Events form. This means that if someone accidentally selected a radio button, or wanted to deselect a radio button they would have no way to do this.
Please let me know if I can provide any more information or details concerning this bug.
Thanks,

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
I was able to reproduce the errors and here is what I found out.
I created a radio, checkbox, and dropdown additional field.
And created fields with colon, comma, ampersand, semicolon, and vertical pipe in the field value.
I found the semicolon, colon, and comma worked in all three fields.
I found in the check box the field with vertical pipe would show checked after saving in both Community Events Form and the individual event editor.
For all three fields I found the ampersand did not show as selected even if that was the value of the field after saving. In both areas here too.
I found the fields were always saved, but would not show as selected on reloading the form.
I have created a bug ticket for us to look into this issue and resolve it.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
