Bridge Theme Conflict 2.0

So, it is apparent that something is conflicting with our Bridge Theme. We are trying out the free plugin to see how it will work with our site before paying for the pro plugin. However, there doesn’t seem to be any way to get support to figure it out without paying. In our previous pre-sales post (Bridge Theme Conflict), we were told to post our issue in a forum, and that your staff periodically checks it, but that no support would be forthcoming.

So in essence, we cannot commit to paying, so we won’t be a customer, because we have no idea if your plugin will work with our theme. Which is unfortunate because we had narrowed it down to only a couple different calendar plugins, and yours was the front-runner.

I don’t think I understand the business model.

Sorry for the confusion. This is again a Pre-Sales Forum and we do not provide technical support here.

We asked you place you support question on WordPress.org and we check that weekly and can try to help narrow down the issue. As of me writing this reply, every single support ticket on WordPress.org has been responded too.

And we do try to help narrow down the issue on WordPress.org, but we can only help if you post there. However, we may not be able to solve the issue or provide coding to fix it as it is a 3rd party conflict.

The business model would be unsustainable if we agreed to fix every conflict with a theme or plugin. There is no way to predict how everything will interact with 3rd party coding. We do test out plugins against the WordPress Codex themes to ensure compatibility with WordPress standards.
