Booking Golf Slots #2

Had a reply by Casey previously, but the system wouldn’t let me reply. So…
The query was…I want to be able to book golf slots for a charity day’s golf. I need to be able to book from 1 to 4 players for each of 65 time slots throughout the day (one slot every 7 or 8 minutes). Is this possible to do?

Casey replied saying it was, but we’d need to create 65 different ‘events’ but this seems a bit messy when people come to book. What about if we created a ‘type’ of ticket for each time-slot, allowing four tickets per type. So for instance, on your WooTickets demo, you’ve got child, seniors and adult tickets available. Is there scope to:
1. add 65 such ticket types
2. Have them named as their particular time-slot
3. Limit the number of tickets available to each time slot to 4?

Thanks for posting. I’m sorry about the trouble posting- we’re working on a fix for that.

Yes, I believe the solution you describe would work. You’d definitely want to be really clear in the tickets about which was which, but I believe that would cover your needs. Nice work on a creative solution- I wouldn’t have thought of that 😀
