We have used Events Calendar on other website projects and want to know if we can use this for another customer who has a specific set of requirements.
They require a website that allows customers to book their children’s birthday parties online and pay a deposit at the time of booking. They have a multi purpose venue but can only cope with one party type at a time.
They have 5 Party packages which each require a different deposit amount to be paid.
They run their events based on four time slots for the parties (10am to 12pm, 12pm to 2pm, 2pm to 4pm and 4pm to 6pm)
Two of the packages only operate in the time slot 4pm to 6pm.They can only book 4 parties per day but can be a combination of the packages above with two of the types only bookable at 4pm to 6pm.

Can this be done, where by once a time slot has been booked by one of the five event slots, that time slot is no longer available.

Our plugins do provide much of the functionality necessary for what you describe, but our plugins are not optimized for “bookings” and so there are some key details that are not supported. This is the most pronounced of such details that are not supported:
They can only book 4 parties per day but can be a combination of the packages above with two of the types only bookable at 4pm to 6pm.
☝️ There’s not really any way to pull this off with our plugins out-of-the-box. You could concoct some custom solution here, but only by combining our plugins with extensive custom coding.
