Hello! I have asked for help in individual product forums, with mixed results and links to other products that might help me. I want to stick with your suite of products since they are awesome! SO… hopefully someone can tell me a final answer Yes or No on my question below.

We have a client site, they want a calendar showing availability for events. These events are strictly birthday parties that you can rent the venue for 4 time slots each day and paid for. Once a time slot has been booked and paid, it is no longer available.

I have looked into Event Cal Pro with Woo tickets and the Community Event product. They all get me close to what I need but then I hit a hurdle. Is there a secret formula of your products that can put together a system as described above?

Wootickets when it works with reoccurring events can do it. But as I understand this is not yet available?

    Thanks

    Hi!

That’s right, recurring event support is not yet available for WooCommerce Tickets (or any of our ticketing addons).

Right now, based on my understanding of what you have described, you would need to set up an event for each day and tickets for each time slot (with an inventory of 1 unit, or whatever is appropriate) – that definitely would be time consuming and somewhat laborious – we fully appreciate that – so the basic answer to your question is no, there’s no secret beyond needing to do some custom development work.

“Out of the box” though, at this time, you probably won’t be able to do what you want in a particularly smooth and efficient manner.

I hope that clarifies things 🙂

    Thanks Barry
This is what I feared. At least I know now.

Sure, sorry it’s not what you wanted to hear.

If we can answer any other questions, though, just let us know (and I’ll go ahead and close this thread).
