ParticipantI have been using these products to sell courses that often occur twice a week and I was wondering if I am setting this up in the most efficient manner. The reason for me posting now is that Godday is indicating that some of my sites speed issues, 503 & 504 server errors are from too many courses. Any help would be great thank you.

MemberHi, Herb. We’ve recently added these 2 settings within the “General” tab:
- Move to trash events older than ___
- Permanently delete events older than ___
Will this satisfy your needs?

ParticipantThese will help, I’m sure!
I was more wondering if the way I’m setting up the events and tickets is correct? Is this the most efficient way? Since they are inherently duplicates of the same item, is there a way to “lighten the code”? As above I’m just looking at ways to speed up the site and avoid the server errors.
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

ParticipantAlso, Goddady is telling me that the 500, 503 & 504 is this possible? I had reduced the number of courses by half and the errors persisted is it possible that they are correct and it’s the events plugins?

MemberHi, Herb. I’m not exactly following…
So did you setup these 2 options? If yes, are they working — in other words, is this what reduced your courses by half?
What is GoDaddy saying about 500, 503, and 504? Are these error codes you’re experiencing?
Whenever trying to troubleshoot a site, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Please let me know what you find out.
