Best way to make my calendar look like the demo?

This is what our calendar looks like:

I want it to look like the Modern Tribe demo–

The “default stylesheet used for events settings” in the “Basic Template Settings” panel do not seem to have any effect.

I know I need to hire a coder.

my question is whether I need to hire a coder to simply stop our WordPress theme from imposing it’s style on Events Calendar and use the Modern Tribe default style instead (relatively simple to do, I assume–its built-in?), or if I need to have a coder rebuild the stylesheet/template to mirror the style of the demo.

Sorry if I’m using the wrong terms, here, I’m obviously not a coder myself!

I would love to help you with this topic.

You could simply download our demo theme here: http://wpshindig.com/download-mt-demo-theme/

It might not be 100% identical, but it’s quite close.
Of course, you could then customize things with the settings under Events -> Settings -> Display and using the WordPress customizer.
