I’m having issues getting going. I think its because your articles talk about individual features or settings without showing someone the best, or main best ways to setup events with tickets.
There are docs on individual event settings, individual ticket settings, individual woocommerce settings…. but nothing showing might might be the most common or best setup.Right now I’m creating tickets as “posts” (which I feel will lead to confusion – no separation or organization between my blog posts and tickets.)
Then I’m setting up events and putting links to those tickets in the posts. A lot of extra work.
This process seems very “clunky” to me and I’m not confident I’m setting up the best practices for my company.
As you’ve made it so that I can attach a ticket to almost anything, and I can even edit in WooCommerce – I have no idea what I SHOULD be doing.I’m relying on your company to make recommendations on “best setup practices”.
Most companies have videos for this kind of thing – but I’d take text instructions, pictures, anything…

So sorry for all the mix-up. I’d like to help get you going on things.
First, if you want to add tickets to a different post type, head to Events » Settings » Tickets » Post types that can have tickets to select which content types should have tickets available. If you would like to add a different option called “Events”, you could install The Events Calendar. This is our free plugin that creates a custom post type called “Events”.
Does that help clear up where tickets go?
